Depending on the situation, it might not be a big deal. I have a friend who took some time, to figure some things out. She left the country for a year, came back, dabbled here and there, then left again for 6 months. She was home for all of 3 months, then left for two more. She's been taking foreign language classes IN OTHER countries. I think in the past 3 years, she has worked less than 6 months. She has the money, she found a tennant for her condo, no car payment. So not having work lined up isn't so bad. :)
